Bonnie Holt Logsdon, RD, LD, IBCLC is a seasoned lactation consultant, speaker, educator, and founder of Bonnie Knows Breast and The Pump Bar. With over two decades of experience, she supports both new families in direct lactation care and professionals in both breastfeeding education and building sustainable, purpose-driven practices. Bonnie’s passion stems from her own journey as a parent and entrepreneur, where she saw the need for stronger support systems in maternal health. Through coaching, education, and community collaboration, she empowers both families and business practices to thrive—not just survive.
Tina Sherman is the National Director for Maternal Justice at MomsRising, where she leads work focused on improving the health, dignity, and economic security of mothers and birthing people across the country. A certified birth doula with formal training in public policy, Tina brings both head and heart to her work grounding national advocacy in the lived experiences of families, especially those most impacted by racial and economic injustice.
Tina’s path to this work is both personal and political. She began her career as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and went on to work with several child and women’s advocacy organizations. Guided by the belief that those closest to the challenges should shape the solutions, her work pushes for policies that reflect real lives and center care, equity, and dignity.
Tina and her husband, JP , are raising four sons ranging from 10 to 19, including 16-year-old twins. She remains deeply connected to her community, serving as chair of the Town Planning Board and Affordable Housing Committee in her hometown as well as several state level boards including the North Carolina Partnership for Children and as co-chairs the NC Maternal Mortality Review Committee.
Laurel Wilson IBCLC, RLC, INHC, CLSP is an international and TEDx speaker, author, and women's health expert with over three decades of experience in perinatal and lactation care. She is the founder of MotherJourney and Thrive During the Transition, two wellness-driven companies empowering families and professionals through transformative education on pregnancy, lactation, perimenopause, and menopause. Laurel combines science, storytelling, and soul to create meaningful change in how we support the transitions of womanhood. Whether guiding health professionals or speaking to global audiences, her work is grounded in evidence, advocacy, and heart.
Anna Rodney is the owner and founder of Birth & Baby University, an online educational platform for perinatal professionals and expecting families and she also founded and created the largest doula agency in the United States, Chicago Family Doulas; which employs over 300 birth and postpartum doulas and is run by herself and 18 other admin.
Anna is a committed life long learner and has spent her entire adult life in the field of education. After the birth of her first child in 2009, Anna became incredibly committed to learning as much as possible about birth and babies. She first became a labor and postpartum doula and childbirth educator. Since then she has continued to grow her knowledge base and accomplishments. Early on in her career she realized that she had a special gift for business and through the process of trusting herself and committing to growth she was able to grow her businesses quickly. She is committed to growing her businesses and supporting others as they grow their businesses. She is an expert in developing an agency, designing trainings, courses and products and being a leader and mentor in this important space.
